on the first floor of CVA.  On school days he is usually there from 7:30 until 4:30 or 5:00.

Musically in 2009-2010, there is so much to offer at Carbon Valley Academy & CVSA!!


♪         Students will continue to learn to play the soprano recorder in our Recorder Ensembles, & improve their singing skills during Choir.

♪         Students will continue to study works by the greatest composers in history, during Core Knowledge Music Appreciation classes.

♪         Students will sing songs and perform on their recorders during Core Knowledge Discovery Nights (one grade will perform each month).

♪         Beginner & Intermediate Orchestra which will begin October 6 and will be conducted by Mr. O'Connor (rehearsals: Tuesdays 3-4 P.M).

♪         The CVA year end Talent Show will again feature our extremely gifted children from all grades.

♪         1st-3rd grade Chess players will be playing chess against their peers during Chess Club (Wednesdays 3-4 P.M.) starting October 7.

 

!          4th-10th grade Chess players will be playing chess against their peers in Advanced Chess Club, Mondays 3-4:15 P.M. starting October 12.

 

!          In Puppet Theatre, Kindergarten through 2nd Grade students will perform fairy tales and children's stories, Thursdays 3-4 starting Oct. 8.
